Ay Caramba

And no, I have no idea if that is how I'm supposed to spell "caramba"...and I'm not going to Google it to find out. This is raw people...raw.

So anyhow, sorry to leave you hanging but, my broken laptop didn't really care that I wanted to blog. It just wouldn't cooperate which I find unbelievably cruel. Therefore...well here I finally am.

So, what happened to my dear old HP?? It is currently lying on someone's dresser like a body on an autopsy table. That baby is lifeless...and in about 26.5 pieces. Rather depressing indeed.

After careful examination, the coroner...ahem, the computer expert (aka the owner of that dresser) told me that my laptop may indeed live to see better days...if I replace its screen and hard drive...at least.

So about 2 weeks ago I ordered a 13" MacBook Pro off of Apple's website. I'm not gonna lie, it almost seems worth having dropped my computer (yet I would have avoided it if I could haha). So after inputting all of the products I wanted to order as well as my billing, shipping and other information I clicked "Place Order" sure that this was the beautiful confirmation of good things to come.

And it was. Oh it was.

Until...

Apple cancelled my order. For no reason whatsoever. I proceeded to call them via Skype on my friend's Mac (it was like a tease being so far away from my own future Mac), informed them of what happened, re-purchased my order and sat back, confident once more that all would be well.

Until...

Apple cancelled my order. Again. Really Apple?? Do you hate the $1700 that I had to take out of my line of credit THAT much!!??!! Do you have too much money!?? Too many luxury cars and fancy steak dinners and kitchenaid mixers (hey, why not?) to want my meager offering?? Am I not good enough for your products?
Sigh. If I ever get rich and famous, I'm going to tell this story on Oprah and hope that Apple will reimburse me in some way...like with a lifetime supply of those sweet Apple logo stickers or something...

So anyhow, I'm currently creating a backup of my old computer on one of those external hard drives. My dear little blue thing, you are now holding the past 2 years of my life. Please keep yourself away from water and unsafe sources of electricity. You are holding some pretty awesome memories...
